New aircraft mural in Rzeszów – the Result of a Partnership Between EME Aero and the Mechanical School Complex in Rzeszów
Passion, hands-on training, and first professional experiences—these are the cornerstones of the collaboration between EME Aero in Jasionka and the Mechanical School Complex in Rzeszów. The latest result of this partnership is a mural currently being created on the school’s wall on Hetmańska Street, which symbolically illustrates the practical and educational dimensions of the company’s cooperation with the school.

Current cooperation – practical classes and training at EME Aero
The EME Aero Training Center was created to develop the skills of the company’s employees, while also serving as a hub for collaboration with technical schools in the region, where students can gain hands-on experience with the aviation industry and its technological infrastructure.
Every week, dozens of students in the Aviation Mechanic program gain knowledge there by participating in classes, vocational training, and internships, including summer programs co-financed by EU funds. Classes for students are led by experienced company employees – EME Aero’s Internal Trainers. Students gain hands-on experience with technical documentation, tools, and components used in engine maintenance, which helps them better understand the processes involved in the industry.
Our cooperation with the Mechanical School Complex is an investment in the future of the aviation industry. We are delighted to share our knowledge and experience, to instill a passion for aviation in young people, and to show them real employment opportunities in this industry. We are proud that our Training Center is a place where not only our employees gain qualifications, but also where students acquire knowledge – says Aleksandra Szafraniec, Director of Human Resources and Communications at EME Aero.
Our partnership with EME Aero gives our students access to cutting-edge technologies and the opportunity to gain practical knowledge in a real-world work environment. This experience allows them to better understand aviation, combine theoretical knowledge with practice, and, as a result, consciously develop their skills and make decisions regarding their future career path – emphasizes Sławomir Świetlik, Director of the Mechanical School Complex. – For the students, this is the first time they get to see what working in aviation looks like “from the inside.”
Education and Individualized Curriculum
The curriculum is supplemented by the first-year course “Mechanical Structures,” jointly developed by the company and the school for the Aviation Mechanic Technician program. It covers topics in technical drawing, technical mechanics, the fundamentals of machine design, and materials strength, and classes are held at the EME Aero Campus. This is supplemented by classes in “Aircraft Maintenance,” which introduce students to the basics of working in the aviation industry. This is an innovative solution and is highly appreciated by students and their parents.
Meetings with Students and School Events
An important aspect of partnership is EME Aero’s active involvement in school life and direct interaction with students during events such as School Open Days, organized at the Mechanical School Complex, and Recruitment Days held at the company’s headquarters. During these meetings, young people can talk with experts and experienced company employees, see what an aircraft engine maintenance facility looks looks like from the inside, and learn how to write their first resume and prepare for their first job interview.

A mural depicting the partnership between EME Aero and ZSM
The mural, painted on the school wall, serves as a summary of the partnership’s achievements to date. It depicts a student and an EME Aero Trainer imparting knowledge and introducing the student to the realities of the industry. The project captures the day-to-day collaboration between the school and the company, as well as the way students learn aircraft mechanics through hands-on experience. At the same time, it showcases EME Aero’s modern environment, access to technology, and the opportunity for students to gain experience early in their educational journey. The mural symbolizes growth, educational support, and a passion for aviation – a passion the company strives to instill in young people.
We try not only to impart knowledge, but also to foster curiosity and the confidence that this industry is
a real, accessible path for growth. The mural depicts what is part of our daily routine and shows what our collaboration looks like in practice. Students are immersed in technology and training engines; they learn by hands-on experience. What we see every day at our Training Centre is now also visible in the urban space -right in the heart of Rzeszów. The project highlights the opportunities offered by the aviation industry and presents it as a viable career path, accessible to both women and men – concludes Aleksandra Szafraniec.

Future Direction of the Partnership
The partnership between EME Aero and the Mechanical School Complex in Rzeszów combines practical student training with the day-to-day operations of the aviation industry. In the coming years, this partnership will continue, and future groups of students will have the opportunity to participate in educational and professional development programs offered through our collaboration with EME Aero.
We are all the more pleased with the partnership with EME Aero because graduates of the Mechanical School Complex are already among EME Aero’s employees. This reinforces our belief that the partnership with the company provides a solid foundation and good preparation for a future career as an Aircraft Engine Mechanic. We are pleased to be able to offer a curriculum adapted to the realities of the job market – concludes Sławomir Świetlik, Director of ZSM in Rzeszów.
