PW1500G Fan Rotor Balance.
Beginning of July 2022 we conducted tests and validation of an alternative PW1500G Fan Rotor process.
Preparation started several weeks earlier with tool fit checks and targeted modification of dedicated tooling. The tests were performed by experienced balancing operators’ and process engineers with the support of Lufthansa Technik Aero Alzey mechanics. Process was approved by Pratt & Whitney after positive validation. It is increase of EME Aero portfolio with new service capabilities.
