  • EME AERO has completed the certification process and obtained EASA 145 certification

    December 18, 2019 - EME Aero, Engine Maintenance Europe service center, a 50/50 joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and MTU Aero Engines, has completed the aviation authority certification process and obtained EASA 145 certification as a maintenance organization on 12th December, 2019. Site completion and the official opening of the company is planned for spring 2020.
  • The Ceremonial Start of the School Year at School Complex No. 2 in Łańcut with EME Aero

    On September 2, at the School Complex No. 2 in Łańcut, the official Ceremonial Start of the School Year for the newly created Aircraft Mechanical Technician Class took place, over which EME Aero took the patronage at the beginning of 2019.
  • EME Aero facility is growing and growing

    EME Aero facility is growing and growing. The numbers speak for themselves. Steel structures weighing around 2,500 tons, about 8,000 cubic meters of concrete and 11,000 square meters of facade panels will be installed on the 160,000 square meters of site floor space by the time the project is completed. This roughly corresponds to the area of 23 football pitches. Soon, EME Aero will join Pratt&Whitney GTF MRO network.
  • EME Aero starts cooperation with Łańcut county in the field of vocational education

    On January 29, representatives of EME Aero - a GTF MRO company specializing in servicing aircraft engines and the representatives of Łańcut county signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of vocational education. The agreement provides, among others, for the organization of internships and vocational trainings for pupils of the schools in Łańcut, as well as creation of a class with Aircraft Mechanic Technician profile under the patronage of EME Aero in the School Complex No. 2 in Łańcut.
  • Laying of the foundation stone for the EME Aero facility in Jasionka.

    Jasionka, September 28, 2018 – This date will go down in the history for EME Aero as a symbolic day of launching one of the biggest and most advanced GTF MRO service center worldwide for Pratt &Whitney Geared Turbo Fan aircraft engines. On that day the company has laid the foundation stone for the facility being built in Jasionka, close to Rzeszow city. The total investment for the service center with a workspace of 40,000 square meters is 150 million euros by 2020.
  • EME Aero and the general contractor

    On 12th of June the contract between EME Aero and general contractor has been signed. Warbud, the EME Aero general contractor, is one of Poland's largest construction companies, operating since 1989.
  • The EME Aero investment is entering the implementation phase

    The EME Aero investment, a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and MTU Aero Engines, is moving from the design phase to the implementation phase. The general contractor has been selected, the recruitment process is well on its way and the training center will go fully operational in the 3rd quarter of this year.
  • EME Aero as a new member of Aviation Valley for the 15th Anniversary of Association

    EME Aero joined the Aviation Valley - the largest industrial cluster which brings together over 158 entities whose goal is to strengthen the role of south-eastern Poland as one of the leading regions in the aviation industry in Europe. The association was established in 2003, and its member may become an aerospace company or R & D institution associated with the aviation industry from south-eastern Poland, with the recommendation of at least two current members of the association.
  • EME Aero – new investment on the air map of the Podkarpacie region.

    In the area of the municipality of Trzebownisko, one of the most modern companies in the aerospace industry, which currently operate in Europe, will be erected. EME Aero company (Engine Maintenance Europe) is a joint venture of Lufthansa Technik AG and MTU Aero Engines AG. An investment valued at 150 million euro will rise in the municipality of Trzebownisko by 2020. The recruitment of new employees has begun, but the beginning of the building, is planning to start in May.
